It’s a jungle out there!

At least it can seem that way in terms of buying a computer. I created this site to tame the beast. Some sites are arranged by brand or hardware. Yet, when you buy a laptop, one of the most important things to consider is its size.

If you are an adventurer – always on the move – then you are most concerned about weight and want the smallest laptop size that you can get. Screen sizes in the 11 – 13 inch range work well. If you want a laptop strictly for home use, then choose one with a large 17.3 in screen size. You can fold it up and hide it away; then you can pull it out when needed.

If you travel with your laptop, but still want a good sized screen, then look for laptops in the 15 – 16″ size range.
